Meet The Teacher
Madison Arsenault - Teacher
Madison began her yoga journey 8 years ago during her Bachelor of Music degree, with a Youtube video and her mat. She came to the practice with hopes that it would relieve some anxiety and help with her breath management as a singer. After a few months as an introverted yogi, she found a local studio in London, and fell absolutely in love. The physical, mental, and spiritual benefits were undeniable. This regular yoga practice drastically enhanced her singing, and her general well being. In 2016 she became a certified yoga teacher, and since then has been teaching around Toronto alongside her musical career. This past March, Madison was in India completing another yoga teacher training in Rishikesh from Shiva Yoga Peeth. She loves music and yoga equally, and recognizes the benefits a regular yoga practice can have for singers. Through this realization, Madison began to focus her teaching on a practice specifically designed for singers, and so began her company “Yogapella: Yoga for Singers”.
