Maggie Duan 段丽君

 Maggie has practiced yoga on and off through the years. She struggled with her weight, depression and anxiety for years and found that yoga was a way to deal with both. Moreover, Yoga helped her feel both calm and focused, and she realized that was exactly what many of her students needed when she was working as a Mandarin teacher in Toronto. 

Maggie has been teaching yoga for 5 years. She completed 30-hour flow yoga with YogaGrove. 200 Hour Teacher Training with Yoga Renew. 95-hour Kids Yoga Teacher Training with Young Yoga Master and 50 Hour Pre & Post-natal Teacher Training with Toronto Yoga Mamas. With over 6 years of experience with children including as an Early Childhood Educator in a daycare setting, tutoring children in Mandarin/English and leading teacher at a Mandarin summer camp, delivering yoga programs in the camp. The Yogatime (Bilingual) was born with passion and love. Her mission is Yoga is for all. She tries to offer her students the opportunity to take that path in their own way at their own pace, to modify when needed and to honour how 

they feel at all times. Maggie finds peace, joy, satisfaction and inspiration in seeing 

students discover their own personal yoga journey and hopes to nurture and encourage them along their way. 

Besides, she also holds a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, a postgraduate certificate in sports journalism, a spoken language interpreter certificate and had worked 

in the field for a few years before starting a new journey. Currently, she pursues an Early Childhood Education Degree at  Ryerson 

University.

Christelle Davis

Christelle is a bilingual certified kids yoga teacher with multiple mindfulness/meditation training qualifications. She has been teaching yoga in community organizations, daycares, schools, and families in both French (her mother tongue) and English. The children she has tutored and her son have inspired her on that path. She likes to bring wonder and playfulness to her classes while conveying meaningful messages to foster well-being and mental health. She loves the peacefulness of nature & journaling and the beauty of social connections & kindness.

Christelle est une enseignante certifiée de yoga pour enfants, bilingue, avec différentes formations à son actif, en matière de méditation et de pleine conscience. Elle enseigne le yoga dans les organisations communautaires, les garderies, les écoles et à la maison pour les familles, en français (sa langue maternelle) et en anglais.
Les enfants qu'elle a encadrés et son fils l'ont inspirée dans cette voie. Elle aime apporter l'émerveillement et le jeu dans ses cours tout en véhiculant des messages pertinents pour favoriser le bien-être et la santé mentale. Elle aime la tranquillité de la nature et de l'écriture, ainsi que la beauté des rapports humains et de la bienveillance qui en émane.
